Established in 1962, Loveland Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that serves children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) across SWFL to live their lives to the fullest.
Loveland’s Office of Philanthropy exists to engage a community of supporters that will not only boost visibility for our mission and for individuals with I/DD, but also aid to secure the overall fiscal health of the agency well into the future.
Loveland has an annual operating budget of $2.5M. You can view our 2018-2019 Annual Report HERE.
Loveland is an approved Medicaid provider and receives a portion of its funding from a fee-for-service model. However, The State of Florida is 49th in funding for individuals with I/DD which means that there are countless individuals in need of scholarships to attend programs, as well as a number of programs and services not fully supported by Medicaid which force agencies like Loveland to rely on support from grants and private donations.
