Entrepreneur Spotlight: Scott from Loveland Center – Bradenton
This week, we’re proud to highlight Scott, one of our talented participants in Bradenton. Scott has been making handmade keychains for over 10 years, and his dedication to his craft truly shows.
From carefully selecting each bead to separating colors and creating perfectly coordinated patterns, Scott puts thought and precision into every piece he designs. His attention to detail and pride in his work are what make his keychains so special.
Recently, Scott wanted to show off his creations, which inspired a video we shared on TikTok. What happened next was something to celebrate: a new customer from out of state reached out to purchase one of his keychains!
There was just one catch… Scott had never shipped his products before.
So, he turned this new opportunity into a learning experience. Scott went on an outing to Walmart to pick out the perfect bubble mailer, colorful tissue paper, and a thank-you card to include in his package. After carefully preparing his order, he headed to the post office to ship it off to its new home.

For Scott, this isn’t just about business — it’s about heart.
“I’m not doing this for the money. I want to help people and share what I like to do.” His keychains are just $10, and Scott says any money he earns will go right back into purchasing more supplies so he can continue creating and growing his small business.
Scott’s story is a reminder that our participants have goals, talents, and big dreams. With the support of friends, family, and staff, they continue to build skills, take on new challenges, and succeed as entrepreneurs.
We can’t wait to see where Scott’s business goes next!
