Loveland Center Receives Grant to Expand Fitness Opportunities in North Port
On January 28th, Area Director Lora Carter proudly accepted a grant at Heron Creek Country Club on behalf of Loveland Center. The grant was awarded through the Heron Creek Community Foundation, a longtime supporter of Loveland Center and our mission.
This generous funding will support our North Port location by helping increase fitness opportunities for our participants. The grant will allow Loveland Center’s North Port location to continue the Bloom Fitness program, an inclusive fitness initiative designed to promote movement, strength, and overall wellness.
In addition to funding the Bloom Fitness program, the remaining grant dollars will be used to purchase new fitness equipment, including exercise mats, storage solutions, an exercise bike, dumbbells, and other tools to encourage healthy and active lifestyles.
We are incredibly grateful to the Heron Creek Community Foundation for their continued support and commitment to empowering the individuals we serve. This investment will make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our participants and help create lifelong healthy habits.
