Loveland Participants Give Back by Packaging 180 Meals for Meals on Wheels
At Loveland Center’s Bradenton location, giving back to the community is more than an idea, it’s something our participants put into action.
Recently, participants spent the day volunteering with Meals on Wheels, helping package meals that will be delivered to members of the community who rely on this essential service. In just one day, our incredible group packaged 180 meals, showing the power of teamwork and compassion.

Moments like these are a reminder that everyone has something meaningful to contribute. Our participants worked side by side, encouraging one another, and taking pride in knowing their efforts would help neighbors in need.

Opportunities like this are not only impactful for the community, but also inspiring to witness. Seeing individuals who may need additional support themselves step forward to help others is a powerful example of what inclusion and community truly look like.
Loveland Center believes strongly in building communities where everyone has the opportunity to contribute. Our participants continue to show that giving back doesn’t require grand gestures, sometimes it simply starts with showing up and lending a helping hand.
Their efforts also serve as an important reminder for all of us. In our busy lives, it’s easy to overlook opportunities to give back. But even a small amount of time spent helping others can create a ripple effect of kindness throughout the community.

A New Way to Give Back with Loveland Center:
Loveland Center is expanding ways for the community to get involved. We are currently looking for community leaders to help lead regional committees and support our mission of creating opportunities for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
If you are passionate about making a difference and strengthening your community, we would love to hear from you.
