Meet Darin Hunt

Darin Hunt is a business owner who has been a lifelong resident of Venice, Florida. He has a strong marketing and entrepreneurial background, with experience in web and graphic design. He started his own successful specialty tile manufacturing company in 2005, selling it in 2009 and starting Community Media in 2010. His company, Community Media, has grown from 40 communities to now over 170 in the last 12 years.

Darin grew up in Venice and attended Venice High School, where he met his future wife, Lauren. After getting his Associate’s of Arts degree from Florida Atlantic University, he transferred to the University of Central Florida, in Orlando, and graduated in 2001 with a bachelor’s degree in Business Marketing. While his children were in preschool at Grace United Methodist, Darin served on the preschool board.

Darin and Lauren have two children, Brayden (12) and Isla (9) who love to be active members of the community. They love spending time with friends and family, and also enjoy traveling to see new parts of the country.
