United Way Charlotte County Supports Loveland Center’s Port Charlotte Adult Day Training Program for a Second Year

Loveland Center is proud to recognize the United Way Charlotte County for their continued support of Loveland’s Port Charlotte Adult Day Training (ADT) program with a grant award of $17,233 through their Board of County Commissioners competitive grant making process. This marks the second consecutive year of funding, reflecting a strong commitment to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) in Charlotte County.
Loveland’s ADT program provides adults with I/DD opportunities to learn essential life skills, build meaningful connections, and achieve greater independence through targeted hands-on learning. With United Way Charlotte County’s investment, Loveland is able to enhance its programs and expand access to individuals and families who rely on these vital services.
“United Way Charlotte County’s continued partnership helps us provide the tools, resources, and support our participants need to thrive,” said Lora Carter, Area Director for the South Region of Loveland Center. “We are incredibly grateful for their continued support. Their generosity reflects a shared belief in creating a more inclusive community where every individual has the opportunity to reach their full potential.”
Funding from the United Way supports Loveland Center’s Port Charlotte Adult Day Training program operations that directly impact the daily lives of participants. By building on last year’s success, this renewed support ensures continuity and growth for Loveland’s Port Charlotte location.
