Staff Testimonials

Coming to work every single day and seeing the beautiful smiles of our participants at Loveland is such a joy, motivation, and inspiration and truly completes my day when I see their contagious laughs, giggles, and excitement along with the ever-supportive staff, what can you ask for? It makes my day and each day is always a blast! And it’s a wrap, there is no place like Loveland!

In the five years that I have worked for Loveland, I have been promoted four times. As a company they recognize hard work and dedication and encourage staff to move forward. Loveland strives for equality through opportunity with the several programs that they offer to meet the participant’s differing needs.

My career at Loveland has allowed me to impact people’s lives positively. I have experienced enormous personal and professional development since starting here. I am truly grateful to be a part of the Loveland Team.

I first started at Loveland as a volunteer, then became a substitute DSP, then a DSP and now a team lead. Part of my job is to make sure the building that I work in is running smoothly. I love working at Loveland because I love seeing the participants making progress towards their goals, interacting with  the participants, seeing the participants smile and hearing them laugh makes my day. I love seeing the socialization that happens amongst peers and amongst me as a DSP at Loveland. I also like seeing the bonds that participants have towards each other and me. Loveland is like a second family/home to me and to the participants who I work with because it’s like a home-like setting. Participants can relax when they need to, hang out with their peers, staff and feel safe to be who they are. It’s an awesome feeling when a participant says to me I love you and hugs me because it shows empathy towards others. It makes me feel good that I am making a difference.

My favorite part about working at Loveland is helping participants through their goals and witnessing their growth and successes. It’s a privilege to be part of their lives and sharing a routine together, that is set for their best support.

At Loveland, most everyone seems happy to see me and the work that I do is appreciated by staff, participants and families.  Commensurate with my role, I am afforded the autonomy to choose the best way to perform my job – I appreciate not just being a cog in a machine, but in charge of deciding how to best accomplish my part.
